Deus-Ex-Human-Revolution-Director's-Cut-Has-a-Very-Long-Title-and-is-Coming-to-Wii-UThere has been a lot speculation lately about the gravelly voiced Adam Jensen appearing on a Nintendo console and today, Square Enix have confirmed those rumours.

Yes, 2011’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution is coming to the Wii U in the form of a Director’s Cut. Hyping it as the definitive version of the game, Square Enix have mentioned a few new additions to the game that utilise the Game Pad such as touch screen hacking, augmented sniping, interactive map editing and grenade throwbacks. One cool feature that will also be in this port is developer commentaries from Eidos Montreal and also in-game guides for those that find themselves stuck, on occasion.

The previously released DLC packs for the game are all here and are also slotted into the main campaign’s story. The combat has been balanced and AI has been improved, but the main thing is that boss fights have been “overhauled”. As anyone who has played the game knows, the boss battles – which were outsourced – were one of the few things that really held this game back. Thankfully, they shouldn’t be a problem anymore.

By the sounds of things, Eidos Montreal have improved everything about Deus Ex: HR with Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut. There’s no release date on the game yet, but Square Enix are saying that it will come, very soon.
