Hall-of-Fame-Legends-Face-Current-Stars-in-Voting-for-Madden-25-Cover-StarIt’s that time of year again folks!

With the NFL season sadly over, all us fans can do is speculate about the forthcoming draft, or watch other, inferior sports. You could also play a bit of Madden 13…. start to get excited about Madden 25! Because EA Sports and ESPN have teamed up to allow fans to vote on the cover star for their forthcoming landmark release. The voting is now live over on ESPN’s site.

Unlike the past few years, this poll includes “New School” and “Old School” – meaning current NFL stars like Colin Kaepernick, A.J Green and the beast-like Clay Matthews will go up against a list of NFL legends like Jerry Rice, Ozzie Newsome, Deion Sanders and his Detroit namesake Barry. There are amongst the voting list some odd or surprising choices, such as underwhelming Oakland QB Carson Palmer and the underrated Sterling Sharpe, who was once the cover star of his very own Jaleco-produced SNES game, yet is more famous for being the brother of Hall of Fame tight end Shannon.

Get over there chaps, and place your vote down for Curtis Martin, you know it makes sense.
