SimCity – Gameplay Diary: Day Four

by on March 21, 2013

Just like a good number of other people, we’ve been playing SimCity, here at GodisaGeek.com, for the past week. We thought that it would be a good idea to show you the city the we created, as it developed, through a series of daily, diary style videos.

We’ll be bringing you a new video each day this week, so be sure to check back daily to watch the progression of, what we called, Jaynestown (we’re big Firefly fans here, as you can probably tell).

This fourth video in the series shows that now that we have the basic layout of our new city more or less sorted – roads will continuously need to be added to accommodate for a rapidly growing population – we have to concentrate on making our Sims as happy as we possibly can. This involves upgrading current buildings, adding more things for people to do and making sure that they’ve got enough amenities to run it all. It’s also becoming evident that we’re getting dangerously close to the city size limit imposed by the game, something that we’re going to have to work around.

Let us know how you’re finding SimCity in the comments below, and be sure to check back tomorrow for another video in the series. SimCity is available now for Windows PC and is due to appear on Macs later in the year.
