New Beyond: Two Souls Trailer Revealed at Tribeca

by on April 29, 2013

David Cage from Quantic Dream has long been trying to bridge the gap between the traditional story-telling that we are accustomed to in Movies, and that which can be found in gaming. His latest title, Beyond: Two Souls, has taken a further step towards that aim, and was featured at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

The title is already being marketed almost like a film, with the names of the two lead actors on marketing images, and cinematic trailers that are released look a lot more like Movies than games. And now on saturday, an exclusive scene from the game was screened to the viewers on hand at the famous film festival.

You can also still watch the UStream archive from Tribeca right here, where a whopping thirty-five minutes of gameplay footage was shown off to the watching critics and film fans in attendance. This is actually the second game to feature at Tribeca – with Red Dead Redemption having been previously picked, but Beyond – Two Souls has received a much larger platform to be featured on, and it was treated a lot more like one of the regular films being exhibited.
