New Character Development Video and Shots of Destiny
At GDC, Bungie discussed their first post-Halo project, in depth. Their “Brave New World” presentation told of how the studio behind Master Chief want to keep the player coming back to Destiny’s world for the next 10 years.
This persistent world promises an awful lot as there are apparently “limitless” combinations of weapon, armour and character customisations.
I guess, if anyone will be able to create a great FPS MMO, it will be Bungie. With Halo, they revolutionised many of the aspects of first person shooters and they may do so again with Destiny.
Below, you can check out a video that they showed at GDC which shows how characters within the game went from concept art to the finished article. It’s an interesting watch. Also, you can have a look at some images that the developer showed off at its GDC talk.
