Fast & Furious: Showdown out This May

Fast-&-Furious-Showdown-out-This-MayThe legs this license has astounds me. I cannot believe that it has lasted for as long as it has, and now there’s even a video game that will coincide with the release of Fast & Furious 6.

Coming to PC, 360, PS3, Wii U and 3DS this May, Fast & Furious: Showdown offers players the opportunity to drive really fast cars. Like, very fast. Co-op is included, as two players will be able to team up for missions and the ability to switch roles (driver, gunman, tactician, daredevil) for missions is also here. No word on whether or not you’ll be able to do that on the fly, a la the upcoming GTA.

And of course, you can “pimp your ride” with loads of upgrades and all that lark. A challenge mode has also been mentioned by Activision, but they were a bit vague on what the leaderboard chasing mode would entail, too.

Have a gander at the game’s packshots and the first batch of screenshots, below. I hope The Rock is in it.
