New Screenshots & Trailer for Wargame: AirLand BattleIn 2012, Eugen Systems and Focus Home Interactive released Wargame: European Escalation, which quickly became one of the most popular Military simulator titles around, with both players and critics. Now a sequel is on its way, as Wargame: AirLand Battle readies itself for take-off.

The game will see players taking control of a whole range of Cold War units, from Tanks and All-Terrain vehicles, to Planes – which make their series debut in this title – hence the new AirLand tagline.

The new screenshots give us a look at a variety of the German troops from the game, including those from its air force, the Luftwaffe – including various aircraft such as the F-104G “Starfighter” and the Panavia Tornado. Then their are also troops from the other side of the conflict, with the Soviet-influenced German Democratic Republic, with the T-72 battle tank and combat aircraft, such as the Mig-17 and the Mig-21. Many of the new battles in this sequel will take place across Scandinavia, in a variety of brand new maps – which also feature in the new images.

This game looks like it is aiming to be the complete Military simulator, and will offer both single and multiplayer options when it is released next month.
