StarCraft: Ghost is Possibly Still in Development
It was meant to be coming to the GameCube, PS2 and OG Xbox, but was put on “indefinite hold” in 2006. Could the game that was originally announced approximately 11 years ago still be in development?
Speaking to Official PlayStation Magazine at GDC about Diablo III, Blizzard’s Matthew Burger was asked if StarCraft: Ghost was still in development. Burger replied:
“It’s on hold. It has never been cancelled.”
Also, when asked if it would ever see the light of day, Burger simply said, “maybe”. Traditionally, games with stop-start development cycles don’t fare too well, at the end of the day.
Would you welcome a title from the StarCraft series, on consoles?
