Co-op Mode Shown Off in Latest Splinter Cell Blacklist Trailer

by on May 20, 2013

It looks like Sam Fisher will be getting some additional missions and a new partner. In Blacklist’s co-op mode, Fisher will team with CIA Operative Isaac Briggs. The mode will include 4 mission types, 14 maps, and split-screen mode. Briggs is quoted on Blacklist’s official Facebook page as “an elite marksman and covert specialist who typically plays it by-the-book.”

Playing co-op will help you access areas you would be unable to alone and work together tactically. Along with the return of Spies vs. Mercs mode and, of course, the single-player campaign, it looks like Blacklist will have enough modes to keep you playing for a long time.

Splinter Cell Blacklist will be released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC on August 23 in UK and August 20 in North America.
