The Infected Show Up in Latest The Last of Us Trailer
While you wait for Naughty Dog’s highly anticipated The Last of Us, watch this trailer to get a closer glimpse in to the game. While Joel and Ellie will certainly be combating other people with ulterior motives, they will also contact the infected humans who are the cause of the empty society.
In this trailer, The Last of Us’s Creative Director Neil Druckmann and Game Director Bruce Straylor explain the ideas and inspiration to the look and feel of the three different types of infected you will encounter. What the infected may lose in human traits, they heighten certain senses. This will change the way you approach each one.
The Last of Us is being positioned as Sony’s summer hit and the first new IP from Naughty Dog since the heralded Uncharted series. Given Naughty Dog’s track record and the premise of the game, you should be as excited as we are for it to hit stores in June.
The Last of Us will be available on June 14 for the PlayStation 3.
