Phoenix Wright Trilogy Hits App Store

There were few better ways to while away a few hours on your OG Nintendo DS than with Capcom’s Ace Attorney series. It may have been a gamble translating such a bonkers niche series from original Japanese to the more conventional Western gamers, but it paid off, and we now have more Phoenix to look forward to courtesy of his upcoming collaboration with Professor Layton.

In the meantime, if you own an Apple device, you would be crazy not to pick up the just-released Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD, which gathers up the first three Western-translated games in the series (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice for All, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations), gives them a lovely HD lick of paint, and adds intuitive touch controls. If that wasn’t enough, the games come with a cool side-app, known as “Everyone Object” which basically allows you to spam your mates and social media with various well known phrases from the game.

The first two episodes of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney are available to download free of charge for your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch, with the remaining three episodes priced at $5.99/£3.99/€5.49/AUD6.49. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice for All, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations are available as in-app purchases individually priced at $6.99/£4.99/€5.99/AUD7.49. Alternatively all three titles can be purchased as an all in one pack for $16.99/£11.99/€14.99/AUD17.99.
