If Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster Sell Well, We May Get More
In an interview with RPG Site, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster Producer Yoshinori Kitase mentioned that there may be more HD remakes made, if the compilation sells well. When questioned, Kitase specifically mentioned wanting to give Final Fantasy XII the HD treatment. Final Fantasy XII was the only other main series Final Fantasy game released on the PS2 besides the MMO Final Fantasy XI. It would make sense considering they could use the experience on XII and Square Enix obviously isn’t opposed to remakes as they’ve given non-HD makeovers countless times. Not to mention a remake of XII would personally make me very happy.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD ReMaster will be released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in 2013.
