New Halo Title And Ryse Details From San Diego Comic-Con

by on July 20, 2013

This week at the San Diego Comic-Con, Xbox revealed new details about two of their most anticipated titles from both this and next gen.

First up, and optimised for Windows 8 touch-based devices, is Halo: Spartan Assault – a frantic top-down blaster. That is available now for £4.99 only on Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 and promises a wealth of features including unlockable content that ties in with the forthcoming Halo 4 DLC.

If that wasn’t enough, 343 Industries has combined with Dark Horse Comics to craft Halo: Initiation, an exciting comic series that explores the background of the Spartan Assault characters.

Ryse: Son Of Rome is one of the big hitting launch titles for Xbox One. Director of Cinematics Peter Gornstein and Producers Michael Read and Justin Robey have revealed new story information, screenshots and artwork depicting the characters, showed off the custom Xbox SmartGlass app, and talked Comic-Con punters through the technical aspects of how they made the game.

If that wasn’t enough, Microsoft also announced a new Digital Interactive Graphic Novel based on the game. Ryse: Sword of Damocles is available now. No ordinary comic, it has interactive elements that unlock multiplayer goodies on the Xbox One game once it drops.
