Pokemon Makes Wii U Debut With Rumble U

by on July 17, 2013

Nintendo have announced today the very first Nintendo Wii U Pokemon game – the action-based Pokemon Rumble U – which was previously revealed for Nintendo’s Japanese audience.

The previous Rumble game was a bit of a simplistic affair on the 3DS which boiled the franchise down to a basic button basher. This new downloadable affair, set to hit the eShop on August 15, sounds like it is a bit more fleshed out that its predecessor, adding the benefits of off-screen play, fun-sounding multiplayer, new items, an emphasis on team strategy and a staggering bestiary of 649 pocket monsters.

The Wii U will benefit from a decent Pokemon entry, so fingers crossed this will be something worth downloading.
