Twitch and Steam Accounts Can Now Be Linked
As of today, Steam users can now directly link with their Twitch accounts, according to the sites official blog. The news will be welcomed by DOTA 2 fans as it allows to them to be in with a chance to win tournament items while watching Twitch streams. Previously players had to make the choice between DotaTV or Twitch and ran the risk of missing out on these items.
No word yet on what the future holds for this new integration, but it certainly opens up exciting new possibilities.
