More Characters Announced For Disney Infinity
D23 is the official fan club of all things to do with the Walt Disney Company. And this past weekend, the D23 Expo took place at the Anaheim Convention Centre in Anaheim California – right down the road from the original Disneyland Park. As you could expect, there was a lot of news and announcements coming throughout the weekend.
One such announcement was Disney Interactive revealing the line-up of characters that will feature in their second wave of figures for their NFC title Disney Infinity. The second wave includes many hugely popular characters – as well as a few new ones.
- Jack Skellington from the Nightmare Before Christmas
- Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz from Wreck-It Ralph
- Anna and Elsa from upcoming film “Frozen”
- Phineas and Agent P from Phineas & Ferb
- Rapunzel from Tangled
- Sorcerer Mickey from Fantasia
They also revealed that a Toy Story-themed playset would be coming soon, featuring a Toy Story level piece and three figures; Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie. The development team have also built an in-game version of the Disneyland Park that players will be able to download when the game launches.
So Disney fans have a lot more to look forward to in addition to the already-announced figures and playsets – and although no fixed dates have been confirmed for these new additions, they are all expected to be released over the next few months.
