deep down is an Online Enabled RPG, Looks Scary

by on August 1, 2013

The annoyingly non-capitalised deep down was first announced at Sony’s PS4 reveal earlier this year, and Capcom have finally let slip a few more details about the game.

As Siliconera have reported the game is in development by Capcom Online Games and, as you’d expect from their involvement, there’s a big online focus to the proceedings.

The game will require an internet connection, and apparently supports a ‘large number of players’.

To add more confusion, the game was referred to as a ‘memory reading RPG’. Perhaps we’re looking at Capcom’s direct answer to Dark Souls after Dark Arisen toyed with the idea earlier this year.

A new trailer was released as well, and tilts more towards horror than the previous dragon and fire fantasy affair did.
