Man Vs Snake Hits Kickstarter Goal

by on September 16, 2013

Playland Pictures rejoiced today as their classic arcade documentary, Man Vs Snake: The Long and Twisted Tale of Nibbler, reached its Kickstarter goal of $53,000. The film, which was seeking financing for post-production, tells the story of Timothy McVey, who in January 1984 was the first person to record the highest score in video game history on a single quarter. Now 25 years later, he sets out to regain his title on the little known arcade game, Nibbler.

With 4 days left to do, the team are now looking to hit their stretch goals, $78K for animation of re-enactments and $106K for song licencing and creation of an original score. Those who feel like giving can donate here.
