UK Charts: FIFA 14 Scores At Its First Attempt

by on September 30, 2013

Despite its massive sales figures and record-breaking release, Grand Theft Auto V has been knocked off the top of the UK gaming charts after just one full week in first place – albeit by another new sequel in a series that is an absolute gaming behemoth, FIFA 14.

This does come with somewhat of a caveat – the fact that FIFA 14 is down on last years launch week sales by almost a quarter. This could be in part down to the success of Grand Theft Auto V, but more likely it has been casued by the uncertainty between whether gamers want to stick to the current-generation versions of FIFA, or wait for the next-gen games to come out.
