New Call Of Duty: Ghosts Trailer Shows Multiplayer Clans

by on October 11, 2013

Last week Activision and Infinity Ward brought us a new video to show how the new squads mode will be integrated into the game. Now, this week, we have been treated to another new trailer which gives gamers a look at Clans, and how they fit into the landscape of multiplayer within Call of Duty: Ghosts.

The Call of Duty Clan Wars game experience, is one new addition, and for the very first time this will allow gamers to join cross-platform Clans. Players across Xbox, PlayStation and PC will all be able to join a Clan with one another, and work together towards exclusive unlocks and multiplayer XP bonuses.

Activision has outlined the fact that existing Call of Duty Elite Clan Leaders will be able reserve their existing Clan Name for use within the game (as long as they are quick enough to get in there before someone else does), whereas gamers who haven’t yet played in Clans can sign up for a free Call of Duty account, which will allow them to create or join their own Call of Duty: Ghosts Clan.

Activision are looking to offer as many new ways as possible to get gamers playing with one another online, as much as possible. Call of Duty has become famous for its addictive multiplayer modes, and extending the lifespan and reach of these always seems to be one of the main objectives for the series.
