Activision Like Money: New Call of Duty & Skylanders in 2014
In a move that’s surprising nobody, CEO of Activision, Bobby Kotick has announced in an investor’s call that 2014 should be another profitable year for the company, as new instalments of both Call of Duty and Skylanders are expected next year.
Also expected in 2014 is the first Diablo III expansion: Reaper of Souls, Bungie’s Destiny, the PlayStation 4 version of Diablo III, plus more content for the long-running World of Warcraft.
It’ll be interesting to see whether these known franchises will be joined by new IP, or even the resurrection of some of Activision’s forgotten names (next-gen Tony Hawk or Guitar Hero, anyone?).
