Hatsune Miku: Project Diva f Heading to Vita

by on November 7, 2013

SEGA is releasing a port of Project Diva f for Vita after its successful release on PS3 earlier this year.

The title will be available in North America and Europe through the Playstation Store in early 2014, there’s no news on a retail release as of yet.

For those that haven’t heard of Hatsune Miku, she’s a digital pop star. Players of the Project Diva games are able to create song through its digitizer technology, and these can then be shared with players of the game and enjoyed both as a song and as some simple rhythm action button pressing.

Mikus popularity isn’t to be sniffed at. SEGA have reported that the blue haired lass had over 950,000 fans in the west before they had even released a Project Diva game outside of Japan, she now has more than 1.5 million.

SEGA also tout that she’s the most popular digital singer, but I’m not sure that’s a hotly contested accolade…

Y’know, I’ve always wondered why Ulala never seems to be featured in these games…

Anyway, it’s not footage of the game, but if you want to get a glimpse at Miku’s popularity check out the video below. It’s a ‘live’ concert performance. Yup.
