Freedom Cry Confirmed as Assassin’s Creed IV’s First Single-Player DLC

by on December 12, 2013

After being prematurely revealed a few days ago, Ubisoft has officially announced the first bit of single-player DLC for Assassin’s Creed IV is indeed, Freedom Cry.

It will be available via Xbox Live Marketplace from December 17 for Xbox One and Xbox 360. The add-on will then come to PSN Store the following day for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

The DLC centres on Adewale — Edward Kenway’s first mate in the main story of the game. It features nine missions which feature Adewale as a trained assassin, fifteen years on from being aboard the Jackdaw.

Anyone who has purchased the season pass will get Freedom Cry at no extra charge, whilst other will have to buy it separately. There’s also no confirmation on the price, just yet.
