Halo: Spartan Assault Comes to Xbox One on Christmas Eve

by on December 9, 2013

Once a mobile and tablet exclusive, Halo: Spartan Assault is making its way to Xbox One on Christmas Eve. Xbox 360 players will have to wait until January to play the game though, as it’s been delayed on Microsoft’s last-gen console…can we call it “last-gen”, now?

Running at 60 FPS in 1080p, Spartan Assault will be available as a digital download for £11.99, or £3.99 if you’ve purchased the game on Windows 8, or Windows Phone 8. The discounted price of £3.99 applies up until December 15.

Some new additions to the game include: new weapons, a new co-op mode and the previously released expansion, Operation Hydra. The brand new co-op mode will allow Xbox One players to team up against Halo old boys The Flood, in wave-based combat.

Once the game comes to Xbox 360, you won’t be able to play Xbox One players, though, because Microsoft isn’t supporting cross-platform play.
