Pokémon Heart Gold & Soul Silver: Super Music Collection Available on iTunes

by on January 14, 2014

Following the release of the Fire Red/Leaf Green and X/Y Super Collections, The Pokémon Company International has now released the Heart Gold/Soul Silver soundtrack on iTunes for the price of £7.99.

The game, which released in 2010, featured in-game music composed by Junichi Masuda, Gō Ichinose, and Morikazu Aoki, and included remixes of iconic 8-bit themes from Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver.

The Pokémon Company International also took the time to remind us that Super Music Collections are on the way for every pair of games, which leaves the following…

  • Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire
  • Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl
  • Pokémon Black and Pokémon White
  • Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2

I’m hoping that 2014 holds more than just musical collections for Pokémon. Last year was the tenth anniversary of Ruby and Sapphire, and with fans clamouring for remakes of the third gen titles I’ll be surprised if we don’t hear something along those lines to tide us over until the true follow ups to X and Y arrive.
