Ni No Kuni: Wrath of The White Witch Ships 1.1 Million Copies

by on March 8, 2014

With classic RPG gameplay and beautiful Studio Ghibli-designed graphics, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch was destined for greatness. It’s no surprise, that a year after release, the game has received 69 awards and 145 nominations, as well as selling 1.1 million copies.

While we never got the original DS version on which the PS3 version is based upon, add the Japanese sales of that game and Ni No Kuni will have shipped over 1.7 million units.

While publishers Namco Bandai Games and developers LEVEL-5 are no doubt celebrating this wonderful news for such a great game, a VG247 post reports that Japanese gamers are about to receive a “All-in-One” version on the PlayStation Store. This new version contains all of Ni No Kuni’s DLC, a brand new Easy mode, and all of the additional familiars from the DS version.

While there is no confirmation that this edition will reach the rest of the world, we can only hope.
