New Gameplay Footage From Sony’s Zombie MMO H1Z1
Sony Online Entertainment obviously noticed how successful the DayZ Arma 2 mod had become, and decided to put together their own Zombia-based MMO – known as H1Z1. The game was revealed by SOE President John Smedley earlier this month, and will see players scavenging for much-needed supplies, crafting tools and weapons, and taking on hordes of the undead – as well as other survivors of course.
Gameplay footage has now also surfaced for the game, courtesy of AllGamesBeta. It is certainly more of a sandbox affair than previous SOE titles and a large emphasis has been placed on building and crafting by the development team – although the new gameplay footage only really shows us a teaser of what to expect. It may look simply like a DayZ clone, but despite its similarities it appears like the title will offer a pretty different gameplay experience.
