The Mandate Introduces The Battle Orchestrator
After successful Steam Greenlight and Kickstarter campaigns, Perihelion Interactive’s The Mandate is a six-player co-operative, sandbox sci-fi RPG, where players must take the helm of a ship, taking part in various missions ranging from straight up battles, to galaxy exploration and boarding operations.
Set in a dystopian future (aren’t they all?), under the rule of a Russian Empire, this online or LAN-based game has apparently been designed to offer no compromise in gameplay experience, whether you play solo or with friends.
In the following trailer, we’re given a glimpse of the Battle Orchestrator, a holographic simulator that can be used to plan out strategies for the game’s many combat encounters.
The Mandate will be released in Q1 of 2015 for PC, Mac & Linux.
