ESL One Frankfurt Compendium Available In Dota 2 Store
The qualifying events for the ESL One Frankfurt finals are in full swing, Team Dog and Fnatic have already qualified along with the invited teams Navi and Allinace. The American qualifiers are at the semi final stage and the Chinese qualifiers have just been unveiled. If watching the qualifiers on Twitch isn’t good enough for you, then you should purchase the ESL One Frankfurt Compendium that launched in the store at the start of the week, as it allows you to watch all the qualifying games (and all games from the final tournament) in the Dota 2 client.
Purchasing the compendium will add $2.50 to the total prize pool for the tournament that currently sits at a cool $171,000 but expect that to grow a lot in the coming weeks. Stretch goals have been introduced to encourage further purchases and the first three have already been met. Another $14,000 added to the prize pool will grant all owners with a set of Jagged Vision Wards, and if we get the total to $250,000 we get a sweet Lifestealer set. If you do purchase the compendium (for the very reasonable price of $9.99 or £5.99 in proper money) you can make tournament predictions just like with the TI3 Compendium last year. I’m predicting that by the time the finals roll around on June 28th Brewmaster will be the new king of the Meta (being banned or picked in almost every game) and that Team Dog will at least be in the final. (Seriously guys keep an eye on Team Dog, they have one of the strongest rosters around. I’m putting them down as the surprise team of TI4)
