Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has Battery Powered Weapons

Activision has unveiled a brand new class of weapons that will appear in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Known as Directed Energy weapons this new type of gun appears to run off battery power and doesn’t require reloads, providing you can manage the heat levels.

The announcement came by way of a trailer detailing the Advanced Arsenal pre-order bonus. Anyone who pre-orders Advanced Warfare will receive the Advanced Arsenal DLC pack which features the Bullet-Brass exoskeleton (A custom exoskeleton suit) and the Bullet-Brass EM1 Quantum (one of the new directed energy weapons).
