Telltale’s The Walking Dead Reimagined As a Pinball Table

by on June 4, 2014

TellTale has been teasing something new for a few days. As usual when anyone teases anything the Internet went into overdrive and people started predicting what may be announced. I’m prepared to bet that no one predicated that The Walking Dead Season One would be converted into a pinball table that will be released for Zen Studios series of pinball games.

The table will be available for both Pinball FX 2 on PC, 360 and One as well as Zen Pinball 2 on PS4 and Wii U but no firm date has been given.

Original dialogue from the first series will be included as well as a string of locations including Clem’s tree house and the pharmacy in Macon.  The table also allows you to make choices from each of the five episodes.

Mel Kirk, Vice President of Publishing at Zen Studios, had this to say about the collaboration.

“Zen Studios is a huge admirer of Telltale Games, and we truly cherish the opportunity to work with such amazing visionaries,”

“Working with Telltale’s The Walking Dead is a hallmark moment as we continue our quest to create the most memorable and authentic pinball experiences.”

Steve Allison, SVP of Publishing at Telltale Games then added this.

“Zen knocked it out of the park with their interpretation Telltale’s first season of The Walking Dead as a pinball table,”

“Players once again get to step into the shoes of Lee Everett and protect Clementine as all the major events of season one play a role in the first ever pinball game that features choice and consequence gameplay.”

Below is the teaser trailer for the new table.
