Battlefield Hardline and Dragon Age: Inquisition Both Get Delayed

by on July 23, 2014

Mere weeks ago all of us here at God is a Geek had a email thread discussing just how crazy October was shaping up in terms of the amount of games being released. We concluded that there is way to many games coming out and that some would have to be delayed. Clearly EA had the same conversation as they have delayed both Battlefield Hardline and Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Battlefield Hardline had been delayed until early 2015. The delay is to improve the general quality of the game, much of which will be based around feedback from the beta. A more detailed description of the improvements the delay will bring can be found on the Battlefield Blog.

Dragon Age: Inquisition on the other hand has received a much smaller delay, moving from October and into November. The game will now launch on November 21st. The delay is to allow the team to polish the game further, more details can be found on the Dragon Age Blog. (Also Adam Cook, Editor at God is a Geek has been calling this delay for months, so well done him).

The delays mean that October is slightly less busy, but there is still at least a couple of massive games coming out every week so I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few more delays coming over the summer months.
