Titanfall Game Update Six Available Now

by on September 2, 2014

Titanfall Update Six, the..sixth update for the fledgling shooter is available to Xbox One players now. PC Gamers? Well, we’re not sure when the update is coming to you, the best we can say is ‘soon’. We’re good to you, right?

Anyway, what does the new update bring to the mech smashing party? In terms of new features, Update Six brings and all new game mode, titled ‘Pilot Skirmish’, which allows 16 human players to go at it for the first time. Yup, thats 4 more than you’re used to, mindblowing, right!? Pilot Skirmish pits human players against each other in arenas with no AI and no titans. 8v8 with titans would obviously have been awesome, but would probably ruin Titanfall’s excellent balance somewhat.

Players who have enjoyed the Marked for Death game mode that was introduced a few weeks ago take note – the new game mode will be sticking around for good, such has been the wave of positive reaction to the all VS one face off mode. We’ve played it here at GodisaGeek, and this should definitely be takes as good news, Marked for Death is great fun.

Respawn have also been busy making Titanfall more accessible to colour blind players, adding in three colorblind options (protanopia, deuteranopia, and tritanopia) They affect IFF glows, crosshair colors, and names above heads.
