Take A Look At The Re-Mastered Halo 2 Coagulation Map

by on October 28, 2014

One of the most popular maps from both Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 is Blood Gulch (remade as Coagulation in Halo 2). Rather than simply upscaling that map for Halo 2: Anniversary when it arrives as part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, 343 Industries have re-built it from the ground up, to create the new map Bloodline – which takes the best elements from each previous version.

Along with five other re-built Halo 2 maps, this shows the dedication that 343 Industries are putting in to this re-master, rather than simply providing a lazy high definition port. They will also include a selection of new challenges and features that will make them fresh for players of the original games. UNSC Hornets from Halo 3 are added to the map, as well as an EMP at each base in order to disrupt vehicular assaults.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is nearing its launch date, as it releases exclusively on Xbox One on 11 November.
