Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Sold More Than CoD:Ghosts in Week One

by on November 10, 2014

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare launched last week and we finally have some sales data as well as Calvin’s review.

The Ukie Games Charts, compiled by GfK Chart-Track show that last week Call of Duty came straight in a number one on the all format chart knocking FIFA 15 off the top spot for the first time since it launched back in September.

It was also revealed that Advanced Warfare managed to outsell last years Call of Duty: Ghosts week one sales, however that is a slightly unfair comparison as the Xbox One and PS4 versions didn’t launch at the same time as the 360/PS3 versions, and they launched before the new consoles were available.

Elsewhere in the charts Football Manager (which Colm really liked in his review) came in at number 3 while Alien: Isolation saw a upturn in sales thanks to some amazing discounts to climb back to number 4. Destiny came in at 5, up one from last week while Minecraft PlayStation edition dropped three to 6th. Rounding out the top ten was Skylanders Trap Team in 7th, Sunset Overdrive in 8th, The Evil Within dropped to 9th while Minecraft Xbox Edition stayed in 10th.
