TI4 Champs NewBee Crash out of DAC on Day 4

by on February 1, 2015

TI4 champions NewBee are officially out of the Dota Asia Championships and will only take home $13,324.

MVP Phoenix joins NewBee in last place with both teams only having one win and twelve losses. Both teams only have two games left to play, which means they can’t even overtake the two teams 13th place; TongFu and CDEC who both have 4-9 records.

At the other end of the table Secret remain the only undefeated team with 13 wins and zero losses, and are guaranteed at least joint first place. EG finally dropped a couple of games over the past two days to sit in joint second with ViCi on ten wins and two losses. Big God are standing strong in 4th with nine wins and four losses while NaVi have turned things around after a disastrous day one to sit in 5th with a 9-5 record.

Tomorrow will see the last of the group stages where two more teams will head home, the top eight will advance to the winners bracket of the main event while those that find themselves ending the day in 9th-12th place will enter into the losers bracket of the main event.

As ever VOD’s are on the BTS channel and GosuGamers has detailed rundowns of all the major games along with a video from Sheever showing off the hotel the group stage is taking place in.
