Winter Wyvern Is the Latest Hero to Be Added to Dota 2

The New Bloom update for Dota 2 has finally been detailed, with the Winter Wyvern being confirmed and the surprising announcing of a Crystal Maiden arcana.

Winter Wyvern is a hero from the original DotA and one of the last to be brought across to Dota 2. Taking the form of a winter dragon WW is an intelligence-based hero whose skills make for good hero control. The hero will be playable once the update goes live.

Elsewhere Crystal Maiden didn’t get a move speed buff but instead a arcana item set. The set gives CM a new look and a cute puppy companion. It is available for pre-order in game right now.

Elsewhere a few minor gameplay changes have been made, both Jugg and Axe were nerfed quite hard while Lion and Venge received some minor nerfs. There was also quite a few big fixes.

The update will also bring back the Year Beast game mode, along with tons of new cosmetics (including the first community created music pack) and a alternate voice for Spectre.
