paysafecard Become ESL’s Latest Sponsor

by on March 27, 2015

ESL has announced that paysafecard are the latest company to get involved with eSports as they become an international sponsor across the ESL organisation.

The move will see paysafecard become sponsors for both the ESL One Frankfurt Dota 2 event as well as the ESL One Cologne CS:GO event taking place in the summer. They will also be involved with Battlefield 4 ESL events.

Perhaps the most interesting news sees the return of the Go4 Dota 2 cups, which previously ran in the UK. These events now offer the chance for any European Dota teams to play competitively, on a weekly basis for cash prizes.

Ulrich Schulze, Managing Director of Pro Gaming at ESL is once again back with a choice quote about the sponsorship.

“For many of our users, using a safe and private method of paying online is very important. We are happy to have paysafecard on board who offer exactly that, and their support for many of our tournaments will help us achieve great things this year and in the years to come. “
