OpTic NaDeSHoT Steps Down From Competitive Call of Duty

by on April 7, 2015

OpTic NaDeSHoT is probably a name that many of you will have heard of even if you don’t follow competitive Call of Duty. NaDeSHoT has been one of the best players in the world for years and is perhaps the biggest star in the Call of Duty scene, however after a disappointing 7th place finish at worlds he has decided to step down from professional play.

Matt “NaDeSHoT” Haag is a co-owner of the OpTic organisation so will still be involved with Call of Duty and made sure to say that he is taking a leave of absence instead of officially retiring.

Replacing NaDeSHoT will be Damon “Karma” Barlow, a member of OpTic’s second team OpTic Nation.

Below is the video in which NaDeSHoT announces and explains his leave of absence.
