Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains Delayed in Europe

by on May 2, 2015

The upcoming Attack on Titan title for 3DS, based on the popular anime series, has been delayed indefinitely in Europe despite it’s release being confirmed in North America for May 12.

It is understood that the game has faced licensing issues in Europe, with Atlus being forced to rename it Shingeki no Kyojin: Humanity in Chains, the original Japanese. Altus have said that they hope to release the game in Europe “as soon as possible”, but say it has been delayed indefinitely until copyright issues have been resolved.

As previously stated, Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains will release in North America on May 12 and cost $39.99 on the Nintendo eShop. The game will be bundled with a free Attack on Titan 3DS theme, a promotion which is expected to carry over when the game finally releases in Europe.
