Ratchet & Clank Coming to US Theatres in April 2016

Ratchet & Clank are making their way to US theatres on April 29 2016 according to a post over on the US PlayStation Blog.

Along with the regular voices for Ratchet, Clank and Captain Qwark you can look forward to famous tones from the likes of John Goodman, Rosario Dawson and a certain Mr Sylvester Stallone who you should recognise from his star turn in the Warburtons bread adverts on UK TV at the moment.

The film has been written by TJ Fixman, a veteran of no less than six Ratchet & Clank games, not to mention Resistance 2 and Overstrike. Also involved are the original designer of Ratchet and Clank; Dave Guertin and a man responsible for many weapon, vehicle and character designs; Greg Baldwin.

Also mentioned in the post is that Insomniac is hard at work on the forthcoming PS4 instalment of Ratchet and Clank that is due out in Spring next year, possibly coinciding with the movie’s release. The game will be a re-imagination of the original game, and will re-tell Ratchet and Clank’s origins, while also expanding on the movie’s story.
