Nintendo Direct Broadcast Details Splatoon
The latest Nintendo Direct has focused on the upcoming Wii U shooter Splatoon.
The highlight was a demo of the game that can be played on May 9 only, though you can download it now.You’ll be able to play up to 3 hours of 4-on-4 online Turf War battles at 04:00 BST, 12:00 BST and 20:00 BST. Download the demo and you’ll be able to get a 10% discount on the price of Splatoon on the Nintendo eShop between May 29 and June 4.
Splatoon will launch with five maps, called Urchin Underpass, Saltspray Rig, Walleye Warehouse, Blackbelly Skatepark and Arowana Mall, with additional stages released every few weeks. Some free post-launch DLC was announced, including new weapons and game modes.
