New Zelda Dated for Wii U, but…

Nintendo has announced a release date for a Zelda game on Wii U, but it isn’t the previously known new title.

Instead, owners of Nintendo’s home console can get The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD on March 4. An enhanced version of the Gamecube/Wii title, it’ll also have some new gameplay elements, and compatibility with Zelda Amiibo.

Speaking of which, a new Wolf Link Amiibo was shown during the Direct conference. Useable in Twilight Princess HD, data saved from that game will carry over to the new, as-yet-untitled, Wii U game. Nintendo also triple promised, no-totally-swearsies, that the latter game will still be making it to the Wii U, despite the replacement NX drawing ever closer.
