UK Charts: Black Ops III Topples FIFA 16

by on December 14, 2015

It’s that time again for the UK Chart round-up for week 50, and finally FIFA 16 has been toppled from the top spot by Call of Duty: Black Ops III – just in time to boost the “Christmas Noob” population for all those fans who purchased on release.

In second spot, and no doubt benefiting from Star Wars mania, is Star Wars: Battlefront, one of our “Best of the Year” games for 2015. FIFA 16 which has held the top spot for the previous two weeks, slips into third place. Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic RPG, Fallout 4 climbs one place to fourth, with Telltale Games’ Minecraft: Story Mode climbing two places to fifth.

Last week’s two big releases, Just Cause 3 drop two places to sixth and the excellent Rainbow Six: Siege down three to ninth. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate occupies seventh place, with Grand Theft Auto V remains in eighth place, with WWE 2K16 in tenth place.
