Pre-ordering DOOM on Xbox One will net you a free copy of Doom 1 and 2
In the same vein as Dark Souls 3 offering pre-ordering customers a copy of the original Dark Souls, it seems DOOM is doing the same. The Xbox Store is listing that pre-orders of DOOM will come with a copy of Doom 1 and 2 — titles which are currently available via Backwards Compatibility.
The codes for the original titles will be delivered to your message inbox “in 7-10 days” after the release of DOOM, according to the Xbox Store. Pre-ordering customers will also receive the Demon Multiplayer Pack, which includes one unique Demon-themed armor set with three skin variations, six Hack Modules (one-use consumable perks) six exclusive metallic paint colors, and three id logo patterns that can be added to weapons and armour.
DOOM is set for release this summer, on May 13. It will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
