Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness heading west this fall

by on February 22, 2016

NIS America have announced that they will be localising visual novel Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness for a western release this fall — coming to PS4, PS Vita and PC.

Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness saw release on Xbox One in Japan last May, but NIS America have said that they won’t be localising for this platform for the game’s western release. The PS4 and PS Vita versions will be released in Japan next month.

Gematsu have reported that Mandatory Happiness is set during the first season of the Psycho-Pass anime series, and adds backstory and storylines for newly introduced characters. The player will be faced with a “multitude” of decisions that ultimately change the outcome of the game.

NIS America will be holding a press conference in San Francisco tonight, and will be announcing further localisations. You can see the trailer for Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness above, as well as some screenshots below.
