Rocket League boosting onto Xbox One next week

by on February 10, 2016

Psyonix have announced that their indie car-footie game Rocket League will release on Xbox One on February 17 via the ID@Xbox self-publishing program.

The game has been fully optimised for Xbox One and will come with all the same updates, upgrades and features as its sister versions of PS4 and Steam, but will also come with a few exclusives such as new cars, antennas and wheels. No word on price yet.

Rocket League released on PS4 via PS Plus last year, seemingly out of nowhere, and became one of 2015’s big hits – so much so that we classed it as one of our favourites of 2015. We reported in December that the game had generated $50 million in revenue, a figure they will surely leave in the dust following its release on Xbox One.
