by on March 21, 2016

Deep Silver have announced that the 2012 survival/platforming title Deadlight will receive a remaster, launching June 21 for £15.99.

Deadlight: Directors Cut will bring the game to Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4, marking its first appearance on a Sony system. Aiming to improve upon the original, this release will boast improved controls and animations, full 1080p resolution and a new “Survival Arena” game mode.

Set in an apocalyptic 1986, Deadlight tells the tale of Randall Wayne, an introverted and slightly paranoid survivor trying to rejoin his loved ones in a world torn apart by zombies. While searching for the haven known as the ‘safe point’ Randall must tackle tense platforming and life-threatening zombie encounters in which the player can choose to use their few bullets, decimating the undead, or utilize the surroundings to sneak past them and hide.
