Nintendo have released the launch trailer for Miitomo, which shows off the wide variety of activities and customisations you can carry out in their first smartphone app.

The trailer shows the Mii creation process, allowing users to customise their appearance, voice and personality to suit their own. Once created, they’re able to choose from a variety of outfits ranging from pink cat onesie to spacesuits. You Mii will ask you questions: the video shows the user being asked “If you had one wish granted, what would it be?”. The user responds “To be a world champion beatboxer”, which is then shared with all their friends to respond to.

Miifoto allows users to take in-app photos of their Mii’s in various poses with their friends, and can even create custom birthday images. Users will also be able to pose with their own Mii’s and customise the images with a range of stickers and messages.

Miitomo launched in Japan today, and will roll-out across Europe and North America in late March. It is available on both iOS and Android devices.
