Psychological thriller Asemblance announced for PS4

Nilo Studios have today announced Asemblance, a psychological thriller that will be making its way to PS4 next month.

Inspired by The X-Files, The Twilight Zone and Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror television series, Asemblance aims to “create a narrative where you’re never quite sure what’s real or what’s not”. The game has also drew on the mechanics of P.T. and The Stanley Parable to deliver “experiences that allow players to explore different theories and ultimately engage one another to learn the truth”.

“We’re just about done with development and are currently optimising the game, polishing the audio design, and adding the final touches to the game’s multi-layered narrative,” said Niles Sankey, founder and developer at Nilo Studios. Sankey was a designer at Bungie for ten years, working on Destiny and Halo among other projects. He founded Nilo Studios last year in Seattle, Washington, hiring a variety of creative individuals from the local area.

Asemblance will release on PS4 next month. See a trailer above.
